Trusting God – Being Obedient

There are many times when you want to give up in your life.

Many times when you feel like it isn’t even worth it to keep going. What is the point you ask yourself, why am I even doing this you say?

I am here to tell you Jesus is doing everything for a reason and a purpose in your life.

It is not an accident that you feel this way, and God has not allowed you to go this far to leave you behind or alone. He has been there every single step of the way. And the best days that you have yet to encounter are before you not behind you.

Be comforted by his words today:

But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” 1 Peter 3:14 NIV

8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalms 4:8 NIV

The Safety of the Faithful

To the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!

You have relieved me in my distress;

Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.

How long, O you sons of men,

Will you turn my glory to shame?

How long will you love worthlessness

And seek falsehood?

Selah

But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly;

The Lord will hear when I call to Him.

Be angry, and do not sin.

Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still.

Selah

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness,

And put your trust in the Lord.

There are many who say,

“Who will show us any good?”

Lord, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.

You have put gladness in my heart,

More than in the season that their grain and wine increased.

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;

For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Psalms 4:1-8

Being obedient doesn’t sound that pleasant in the moment. And many times you may ask yourself “was that even God that was telling me to do that? or say that” But when that “thing” doesn’t leave your spirit and keeps pulling on you and tugging on your heart to talk about it or write about it. You have to know that it’s from God. Also when you are filled with the holy ghost, the holy spirit of God, and are born again of the water and the spirit, that is God’s way of letting you know he wants you to do something in the Spirit and act on it in the physical. And we surely have to be obedient to his voice and his calling for our lives. Because he will most definitely use somebody else if we are not willing. So, if you have a yearning feeling to do something for God and you haven’t acted on it…now is your season and reason to jump into it! He has placed specific gifting in you for a purpose and he wants you to act in faith to use it!

It’s hard to trust God in the hard things and in the difficult times. It is not an easy task. Especially when you see quite the opposite going on in your life. But you have to push against the tide, against your emotions, and against your flesh.

Keep being obedient to him today. Don’t give up and be rest assured like David in Psalms 4:8 that he alone makes you dwell in peace and safety. All the days of your life! Just trust him!

Thank you for sticking with me for so long, for those who have! I have been putting this blog off for months as you can see! But I felt personally to share that I have to trust God with this blog and know he is going to do the increase! I am being obedient and trusting his will for my life by writing as I have felt in my spirit for a long time to write here. And now I am obeying! What do you feel in your life, that you have been putting off from God?

I hope this short post can serve as a blessing to you in any way shape or form! I love you guys. May Jesus Bless you all might-fully!

My goal for this blog is to post every Friday!

Please let me know If you have any prayer requests down below!

IN THE MIDST OF;

Hello there my fellow Apostolic Pentecostals and Christians! I wanted to share the words the Lord put on my heart Wednesday night about two weeks ago, they were: “In the midst of” they swelled on my heart the whole night and they haven’t left me since. I wanted to share with you that no matter what you are going through today he is there in the Midst of it all!

In the midst of setbacks;

Romans 5:3-5 (NKJV)

3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;

4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

In the midst of attacks by people around you;

Genesis 50:20 (NKJV)

20 But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

Romans 8:31 (NKJV)

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Romans 12:19 (NKJV) 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

In the midst of heartache;

Psalms 34:17-20 (NKJV)

17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

20 He guards all his bones;
Not one of them is broken.

In the midst of really hard days of being a momma;

Galatians 6:9 (NKJV) And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

John 11:25 (NKJV) 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

2 Peter 3:9 (NKJV)

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

In the midst of sadness and hopelessness;

2 Corinthians 4:9 (NKJV) persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—

Proverbs 12:25 (NKJV) 25 Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad.

In the midst of frustration and anger;

Proverbs 29:11 (NKJV) 11 A fool vents all his feelings, But a wise man holds them back.

Psalms 4:4 (NKJV) Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NKJV) ; 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

*I wanted to include this as a declaration over our lives The Race of Faith and The Discipline of God*

Hebrews 12:1-3 (NKJV)

The Race of Faith

12 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

The Discipline of God

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.

Whatever you are going through today, you can fill in the blank as the Lord knows what it is you are going through please give it to him today! Please don’t live in shame, fear, worry, or sadness! HE REALLY IS WITH YOU! HE is for YOU! and so NOTHING CAN BE AGAINST YOU!

I pray this helped you in any way! I pray this be a blessing to you in Jesus Christ’s name! Bless your PRECIOUS people today LORD in JESUS CHRIST’S NAME!!

I pray and I PRAY AMEN & AMEN!

“A Hard Day”

Hello, my precious followers! ☀️ I hope you guys are having a fantastic day today! As I type this I want to share with you something I wrote the other day. I wrote this when I was having such a hard time, in the end, I had to step away and go write and pray in the car! Ha-ha! Can I get a witness? How many mommas out there have to flee the scene sometimes when it all gets too overwhelming! I know I am surely not alone. Drop an Amen! in the comments if you can agree & I hope you enjoy it! :

Written on 04-01-21:

Today was a very hard day for me mentally, as Christians, we know it’s a constant battle in the mind. Today in particular I felt as though everything was against me. Me not being able to connect with my spouse, not finishing the dirty dishes, everything falling everywhere, and lastly me dropping my pen and notebook on the passenger floor of my car as I try to write this! Needless to say, It was a lot and I had to step away as my precious husband watched the kids for me for an hour.

Now, what do we do in these situations of stress, hardships, and just the straight-up urge to convert yourself into a complainer about everything?

  1. Firstly, step away from your situation or surrounding and be honest with yourself you don’t “got this” If you are about to let all hell break loose, just leave to a peaceful space. Have your hubby watch the kids, go to your secret place! For me, this is an empty parking lot at the grocery store. If you don’t know where ask the Lord to give you wisdom and direction on where to make your secret place, where it is just you and him alone.

Proverbs 16:32 (NKJV) says: He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes the city.

2. Refocus yourself back to the Lord in prayer: Yes, it feels like this would be the last thing you would want to do, but trust me even a simple honest conversation with Jesus makes a world of a difference!

Be honest with him he already knows, let it all out and pour yourself, your worries, and cares to him!

“Lord I can’t go on, this is more than I can handle, Lord I just am super tired, I can’t take it anymore”

Psalms 73:26 (NKJV) says: My flesh and my heart fail: But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

He knows how you feel he is your best friend he knows you, he wants to hear out-loud about your burdens but more importantly, he wants to deliver you from them! Praise God! that we serve a mighty God that never tires and that wants to help at any given time of the day! Thank you, Jesus!!

Psalms 107:6-9 (NKJV) says:

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses.

And He led them forth by the right way, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for his goodness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfies the longing soul,

And fills the hungry soul with goodness.

3. Cover yourself with the powerful word of Jesus Christ! Fill yourself with his precious word! Look up verses for your situation today! I opened up my bible and It opened to something I desperately needed today: Psalms 3 and 4 So, so, so, powerful! Highly recommend you read these two chapters today or keep them in your spiritual pocket when you need them or are struggling! the beginning of

Psalms 3 is titled: The Lord Helps His Troubled People: A Psalm of David when he fled from Absalom his son.

Psalms 3 (NKJV) says:

Lord, how they have increased who trouble me!
Many are they who rise up against me.
Many are they who say of me,
There is no help for him in God.” Selah

But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
I cried to the Lord with my voice,
And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah

I lay down and slept;
I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people
Who have set themselves against me all around.

Arise, O Lord;
Save me, O my God!
For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone;
You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
Salvation belongs to the Lord.
Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah

Psalms 4 is titled: The Safety of the Faithful: To the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.

Psalms 4 (NKJV) says:

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!
You have relieved me in my distress;
Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.

How long, O you sons of men,
Will you turn my glory to shame?
How long will you love worthlessness
And seek falsehood? Selah
But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly;

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

So so good!! I encourage you today if you are going through a hard season: Please don’t carry on any further he, Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Wants to take your burdens from you!! Please give it to him today!! I pray powerfully and mighty-fully these steps can encourage anyone or lift up somebody today!! I pray in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, AMEN!

Luke 11:28 (NKJV): But he said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
