“A Hard Day”

Hello, my precious followers! ☀️ I hope you guys are having a fantastic day today! As I type this I want to share with you something I wrote the other day. I wrote this when I was having such a hard time, in the end, I had to step away and go write and pray in the car! Ha-ha! Can I get a witness? How many mommas out there have to flee the scene sometimes when it all gets too overwhelming! I know I am surely not alone. Drop an Amen! in the comments if you can agree & I hope you enjoy it! :

Written on 04-01-21:

Today was a very hard day for me mentally, as Christians, we know it’s a constant battle in the mind. Today in particular I felt as though everything was against me. Me not being able to connect with my spouse, not finishing the dirty dishes, everything falling everywhere, and lastly me dropping my pen and notebook on the passenger floor of my car as I try to write this! Needless to say, It was a lot and I had to step away as my precious husband watched the kids for me for an hour.

Now, what do we do in these situations of stress, hardships, and just the straight-up urge to convert yourself into a complainer about everything?

  1. Firstly, step away from your situation or surrounding and be honest with yourself you don’t “got this” If you are about to let all hell break loose, just leave to a peaceful space. Have your hubby watch the kids, go to your secret place! For me, this is an empty parking lot at the grocery store. If you don’t know where ask the Lord to give you wisdom and direction on where to make your secret place, where it is just you and him alone.

Proverbs 16:32 (NKJV) says: He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, And he who rules his spirit than he who takes the city.

2. Refocus yourself back to the Lord in prayer: Yes, it feels like this would be the last thing you would want to do, but trust me even a simple honest conversation with Jesus makes a world of a difference!

Be honest with him he already knows, let it all out and pour yourself, your worries, and cares to him!

“Lord I can’t go on, this is more than I can handle, Lord I just am super tired, I can’t take it anymore”

Psalms 73:26 (NKJV) says: My flesh and my heart fail: But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

He knows how you feel he is your best friend he knows you, he wants to hear out-loud about your burdens but more importantly, he wants to deliver you from them! Praise God! that we serve a mighty God that never tires and that wants to help at any given time of the day! Thank you, Jesus!!

Psalms 107:6-9 (NKJV) says:

Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distresses.

And He led them forth by the right way, That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for his goodness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men! For he satisfies the longing soul,

And fills the hungry soul with goodness.

3. Cover yourself with the powerful word of Jesus Christ! Fill yourself with his precious word! Look up verses for your situation today! I opened up my bible and It opened to something I desperately needed today: Psalms 3 and 4 So, so, so, powerful! Highly recommend you read these two chapters today or keep them in your spiritual pocket when you need them or are struggling! the beginning of

Psalms 3 is titled: The Lord Helps His Troubled People: A Psalm of David when he fled from Absalom his son.

Psalms 3 (NKJV) says:

Lord, how they have increased who trouble me!
Many are they who rise up against me.
Many are they who say of me,
There is no help for him in God.” Selah

But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
I cried to the Lord with my voice,
And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah

I lay down and slept;
I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people
Who have set themselves against me all around.

Arise, O Lord;
Save me, O my God!
For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone;
You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
Salvation belongs to the Lord.
Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah

Psalms 4 is titled: The Safety of the Faithful: To the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments. A Psalm of David.

Psalms 4 (NKJV) says:

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness!
You have relieved me in my distress;
Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.

How long, O you sons of men,
Will you turn my glory to shame?
How long will you love worthlessness
And seek falsehood? Selah
But know that the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly;
The Lord will hear when I call to Him.

Be angry, and do not sin.
Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness,
And put your trust in the Lord.

There are many who say,
“Who will show us any good?”
Lord, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us.
You have put gladness in my heart,
More than in the season that their grain and wine increased.
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

So so good!! I encourage you today if you are going through a hard season: Please don’t carry on any further he, Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Wants to take your burdens from you!! Please give it to him today!! I pray powerfully and mighty-fully these steps can encourage anyone or lift up somebody today!! I pray in Jesus Christ’s mighty name, AMEN!

Luke 11:28 (NKJV): But he said, “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
