Being Faithful in tough times.

Good morning, my fellow believers in Christ!

Last night I was feeding my little girl around 12.30AM. It was a harder day as my 6-month-old has been having a hard time staying asleep at night, as she usually sleeps through the night. The last two nights were tough, to say the least.

And the question kept coming in my mind throughout the hard day yesterday: how do you serve the Lord on hard days? And how do we stay faithful when it’s hard to, or quite frankly when we don’t feel like it?

I believe this is when our faith gets tested the most in the hard times. Not when everyone is in one accord, and everybody/everything is aligning with your schedule, but when everything is all messed up. You feel drained, abandoned, alone. And the question runs through your mind over – and over – God where are you?! I need you right now!! Help me!! I can’t even feel you, are you even listening to me?

Yes, we have all felt this way before. As they say, you feel like your prayers are hitting the ceiling and back at your forehead to the ground. But I want to encourage you today and tell you, that’s a lie from the enemy. They are not hitting the ceiling and your prayers are most definitely reaching the throne room of Glory when you lift up your voice and cry out to him! I believe Jesus smells our prayers as a sweet-smelling savor before him when we are honest and just before him. And truly desire to do his will and be righteous but just don’t feel the strength to do so.

Whenever I am very, very low I make declarations from the word of God to myself. Even when I don’t feel a single thing, or even when I can’t see any changes for the better in my life, I know he LIVES, and he REIGNS. Declare unto yourself today:

2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV) says: And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Psalms 46:1-3 (NKJV) : God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear,
Even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

Proverbs 18:10 (NKJV): 10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV): But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV): 13 I can do all things through [a]Christ who strengthens me.

Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV):

10 Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

The longer I live for God the more he guides and speaks to me to trust him. As I have grown in him and just very recently started really establishing a designated time of bible reading time and prayer time. I try to read a chapter or two from the bible before I even pick up my phone to give him the first firsts of my day. As I believe the Lord cares about giving him the first of everything we do since genesis, Genesis 4:3-5 says And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell. (NKJV). This goes to say, give God what you have at any time of the day, of whatever you have left within you, it is enough! I do notice though if I don’t do this I struggle all day.

I’ll be honest to say I haven’t done this until recently, I would always just grab my phone and do the normal scroll. I would struggle a lot to feel God and be more in the flesh than the spirit. But I believe it is the small changes that cause us to feel and see the big changes in our relationship with Jesus. I definitely don’t have it all together, in fact, I feel as though I am barely starting to see the process of organization in my life since having my little girl back in August of 2020. But GOD IS GREATER, yes he is just he holy holy holy! And worthy to be praised! So, I want to encourage anyone that is struggling today in tough hard times, to keep being faithful, establish yourself in the little to see great things in the big! Make adjustments, how’s your prayer life? When was the last time you read the word of God? what are you reading in it? Make it exciting for you! I encourage you, right now I am reading the book of Ezekiel and Proverbs. I try to read 1 chapter of each book a day before I start the day. Find what works for you to make God exciting for you in your life. Add bible tabs as I did, make it a joyous and refreshing time for you. Ask the Lord to help you to guide you, and he will never let you down! never!

Keep being faithful, and establish something with Jesus that you have never done before. Change your routine in him. And you will see that he will change your life, your relationship with him and you will experience something that you never had with him before!

A new level of worship, a new level of AWE! God bless you today, keep hanging on it will get better, just lean on him and he will see you through! trust him!

A word from Solomon

Good morning my fellow brother and sisters of Christ Jesus! Praise God, it is a beautiful day to serve the Lord! This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it!! I just finished my devotion and I wanted to share something with you from the book of Proverbs (the book of wisdom) I think it is so powerful how Solomon the son of David remembers his father’s wisdom and shares it with us in Proverbs Chapter 4:23-24 (NKJV) it says:

23 Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.

24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth,
And put perverse lips far from you.

(I underlined the words the stood out to me the most)

Verse 24 says “Far from you” as in don’t even let perverse lips near you, where you dwell or in the things you say. This goes back to “Keep your heart with all diligence” in verse 23 the definition for spring is: Move or jump suddenly, to originate or arise from.

Your heart can arise or arises with problems if you let it! It can happen suddenly or rapidly. Whether it is bitterness, anger, sadness, or fear. Don’t let it settle in your heart, always deal with your heart issues right away! Take it to the king! for he is the only one that can heal you! He created us, so nothing else can help us find that satisfaction the only one that can heal us is him, Jesus!

Take heart today if you are struggling with something please don’t hold on to it any longer, take it to God! Don’t try to fill it with food, alcohol, drugs, or all the other pleasures of the world. The only one that can lift it from you and deliver you is him! He made us in his image. He is the only one that can fix us! Amen!

God bless you today, I hope this encouraged you in any way. And If you have any prayer requests please leave them down below in the comments! I pray that God blesses you with his precious spirit of peace today. In Jesus name, i pray, Amen! ♡

A fire within me.

Hi guys, I hope you guys are blessed and highly favored of the Lord today! I have been gone since December, and I am finally back to stay in Jesus name! (Haha). You know I think part of the reason why I stopped is because I didn’t feel like I was qualified for this. I felt as though I didn’t have it together enough to write or be a “mommy apostolic christian blogger” but will I ever be qualified? or will there ever be a moment where I go ah-HA! yes now’s the time! the answer is: No, absolutely not. There will never be a perfect moment, a perfect time or mood to be like “okay, yes now’s the moment. GO!” the truth is there will never be that. The Lord calls us to be us or to show our unique callings he has placed in every single one of us at our worst moments but HIS BEST timing for us! Hallelujah! that we serve a God that sees the beginning from the end before we even see it! the bible says in Isaiah 46:9-11 (NKJV):

9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

He knows everything we do before we even do it haha! Praise God that he is always there in the midst of our failures, in the middle of our sets backs, our sadness, our joy and victories!

I want to encourage somebody today, inspired by a devotional that’s called “When Christ Calls by Barron Longstreth” on the Truth radio app I have downloaded (highly recommend, very encouraging) he was giving the example of David in the bible. How David was never told specifically by God to go and fight Goliath, David just went with faith from God. The bible says David was explaining to Saul how he was very capable of going and defeating Goliath he says in 1 Samuel 17:34 (NKJV):

34 But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, 35 I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. 36 Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” 37 Moreover David said, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.”

He didn’t wait to hear an audible voice from God saying go to this event and kill him, or something very specific to do. He just went forth and did it in faith knowing that he wasn’t going to let anyone talk about our living God like that! He knew that God was going to have his back regardless because he was doing it in his name! In the name of the Lord! (1 Samuel 17:45 NKJV): 45 Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

He went to the field and defeated Goliath because somebody was calling from the field! In brother Barron’s message, he said: “The harvest is truly plenteous but the laborers are few, we need your permission, Jesus. You may not say go or be calling me out there. But if you give me permission I will go.”

Voices are calling out in the field, the voices of souls hurting, help needed, wounded individuals. People that need us, that are desperate for a word of hope or encouragement, of LIFE with JESUS. What has God called you to be for somebody? what do we have yet to take before him to accomplish it? Is it witnessing, making videos, talking to your neighbor down the street? What is it? I encourage you to talk to the Lord about it today. You may not receive an audible voice “go” but I believe if we go out in faith to respond to the voices in the field that are calling. He will be there to help us and encourage us through it ALL!

You are called, you are chosen, you are a miraculous child of God.

God bless you all today, I hope this helped you in any way, and until next time. God bless you might-fully!
